Captured Moments: Punta Cana Dominican Republic

Punta Cana, in the Dominican Republic, is recognised as having some of the best beaches in the world. With that kind of accolade, you quickly conjure up images of paradise. Images of powder soft sand greeting your toes as you walk along the endless stretches of pristine beach, lined with palm trees and the crystal clear Caribbean ocean lapping the shore. In reality, it did not disappoint, here are a few snaps from our week in paradise – Punta Cana.

Toronto winter

Toronto Winter – Photo Story

Looks like Wiarton Willie was right, we were not blessed with an early spring. This past Tuesday evening (1 March), Toronto received its biggest snowfall of the season. A photo story of Toronto in winter, before the snowploughs cleared all the roads and the salt turns the sidewalks grey and sludgy.

Toronto Islands in 10 Photos

We took advantage of the glorious sunny, blue skies (yes, the sun does shine in Canada) and went on a short ferry ride across the lake to what is essentially a giant park.
