Nomad African Spa

REVIEW: Nomad African Spa Windhoek

Nomad African Spa is the first African-inspired spa in Windhoek, incorporating a holistic approach to well-being. With the focus on taking a moment to be still, be pampered and rejuvenate under the clear skies of Windhoek.

They are no ordinary beauty salon where you grab a quick mani during a lunch hour but rather a retreat from the city where you take your time to unwind and get a massage.

They offer a unique spa experience that starts from the moment you step out your car. On arrival, one is greeted by ladies singing, softly beating an African drum and holding a glass of bubbly (this is how you make a girls day!)

I was treated to a full body massage which included the unique experience of being massaged with mini calabashes and sticks (sounds weird but was awesome) it all just added to the experience.

Nomad African SpaMy massage was followed by a rather tasty lunch.

Nomad African SpaNomad African Spa is in the heart of Windhoek and I have driven past this spot many a time and never known this little gem was there.

The treatment packages are simple, you select either a facial, full body massage, foot massage, body exfoliation or a back and neck massage. This is followed by a meal, either breakfast, lunch or dinner depending on the time you book.  The spa is also open at night, which I think would be awesome for a couple’s evening retreat.

Nomad African Spa

Overall I was impressed with my treatment, the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the food. I highly recommend you spoil yourself, partner or mother with an afternoon or evening at the spa.
